Southlake Angling Society is a thriving angling club situated in Woodley, Berkshire and was formed in 1969 around an old estate lake in the heart of the town.

Some ten years later, the society secured the lease on a second venue, a newly dug gravel pit near Twyford. Gaining the lease from Redlands Aggregates, now part of the Lafarge group.

Redlands was then purchased by the society in 1999 and in 2012 with the help of a grant from the Angling Trust, an old pond on the Redlands site was enlarged and landscaped into a small 1 acre lake we now know as Little Redlands, providing excellent mixed fishing for carp, tench, roach, perch, bream and crucian carp and proving very popular with our pleasure anglers and junior members alike.

Membership is highly sought after, and numbers are limited to ensure that our venues are not overcrowded, ensuring there is always a free swim when required.

Most years we reach our membership limit but there are always spaces around the renewal time in May although we would encourage you to get in quick to avoid disappointment.

Members can purchase members guest tickets and these are £25 for 24 hours. All guests are the responsibility of the member and must adhere to all the society rules.

Members and guests must be in adjacent swims where possible.

During busy periods we may have to temporarily suspend guest ticket sales.

Keep checking our social media pages for renewal dates and new member applications.
